Ryan and I continued to work on the Python script on the Raspberry Pi, fixing a few issues with the code. We now have a robot that can go backwards, whereas before we had a series of statements that would never get triggered:

    • if
    • else
    • if

For most of the hour, the entire team worked on their personal logs, which are a school commitment for an assignment. Most of the team have been preoccupied with the robot and creating this team document rather than their personal documents, and they have thus been neglected, so they took this last chance to polish off the individual part of the assignment.

Ryan also wrote a quick arm movement algorithm, which was a requirement for the personal log assignment.

He then updated the PS3 controller button map to reflect our new ideas for controlling the robot:
