RoboCup: A Retrospective (Day Six – Symposium)

Day 6 was another – unintended – early morning, giving us time to make our way to the Aichi University Nagoya Campus for the 21st annual RoboCup International Symposium. We used the opportunity to finish our presentation and speech, just in time for our slot.

You can view our presentation below.

Despite having no rehearsal, apparently, the presentation went smoothly. We held the interest of the audience despite the fact that they were tempted with morning tea before the organisers realised they had forgotten our presentation.

After morning tea, we returned to Nagoya to spend some quality time in BIC CAMERA. Interestingly, we found a Lenovo section with our school laptops. If you ever need a replacement, it will only cost you $350 in Japan!

For dinner, Gerry took us to a Korean Barbecue to celebrate our win, considering he hadn’t been able to join us at Buffet Paradise.

Above: Korean Barbecue, probably some of the best food we had in Japan. Just look at how happy Gerry is! Taken on the 31/07/2017 at 10:45 PM.

What a fantastic way to end our last night in Japan.
